In the 23rd minute Villiam Hedbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Greco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laykers's Demetrio Greco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Laykers from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Robíño Football Club booed when Laykers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Pellecchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Biagetti's late challenge caught a Robíño Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Biagetti helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Laykers got a freekick which was hit by Frank Biagetti. With an all-out effort, Robíño Football Club's Demetrio Greco threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonatan Olenberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Demetrio Greco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Arab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karol Czeszejko in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Greco saved Laykers from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermanno Lalli to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Martin Arab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Greco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Karol Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Greco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laykers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panait Mazăre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Robíño Football Club had played much better football throughout.
