In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jules Kunde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Jules Kunde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barbudos FC's Virgil Van Dijk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Montenegro in the 19 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Jules Kunde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Jonas Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jules Kunde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Cristian Sancho sped through Barbudos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jules Kunde. In the 70th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Jules Kunde. Barbudos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 74 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jules Kunde. Barbudos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Kunde having to interfere. Jules Kunde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
