Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Visen Allu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Han Ying was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Piedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Zgrăbunţa in the 25th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Candido Piedra in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Pascual Carballar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Candido Piedra. The goal made the score 3-2. After 33 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerónimo Molina. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Visen Allu went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Visen Allu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Zgrăbunţa in the 43rd minute of play. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Visen Allu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henk Everts kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Carballar came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Zgrăbunţa in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Visen Allu got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergiu Zgrăbunţa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergiu Zgrăbunţa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 67th minute. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Altermundi FC's Disvandis Larraona got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Reyes in the 76th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Pedro Reyes sent off a good shot on target. Sergiu Zgrăbunţa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Zgrăbunţa in the 82nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Pascual Carballar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Visen Allu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 3-5. In the 89th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altermundi FC played a much better game than Colombia and deserved their victory. The Colombia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
