Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Efraim Morais kicked off to start the match. C.A.Guimarães's Well-Well Puč managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 3 minute of the game. Dmitriy Didorenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Efraim Morais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Guimarães's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 12 played minutes C.A.Guimarães got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Morais. Efraim Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lartaun Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Dmitriy Didorenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lartaun Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efraim Morais in the 27th minute. Efraim Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Efraim Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a C.A.Guimarães's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play forced C.A.Guimarães's goalkeeper Lartaun Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. When C.A.Guimarães's Efraim Morais in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonathan Ferrant guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Guimarães's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lartaun Ibar came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes C.A.Guimarães got a freekick which was hit by Well-Well Puč. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lartaun Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraim Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, C.A.Guimarães was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Linares to maneuver through the defense. Efraim Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A.Guimarães's Dmitriy Didorenko got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lartaun Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.A.Guimarães's Waddah Fudail got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efraim Morais in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of C.A.Guimarães booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Well-Well Puč made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dmitriy Didorenko however managed to control. When 董俊响 fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Guimarães's protests and gave 董俊响 a yellow card for diving instead. 董俊响 kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.Guimarães had won after a very even match.
