Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jaroslaw Majkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Dynamo Strandnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Majkowski took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Karl-Magnus Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Majkowski came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Dynamo Strandnäs got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rutger Kellbom ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Dynamo Strandnäs's corner Axel Bergman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Majkowski in the 28th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaroslaw Majkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaroslaw Majkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Karl-Oskar Bodin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Oskar Bodin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jaroslaw Majkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaroslaw Majkowski went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Karl-Oskar Bodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Strandnäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Oskar Bodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Dynamo Strandnäs were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Majkowski was the one to do the kick off. Axel Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Jaroslaw Majkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Jaroslaw Majkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Rutger Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Strandnäs. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Casper Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Casper Johnsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Karl-Magnus Brummer came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dynamo Strandnäs's Karl-Magnus Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 85th minute of play. If Casper Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Casper Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Karl-Oskar Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Dynamo Strandnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Frisk to maneuver through the defense. Dynamo Strandnäs's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
