Ma Tian kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jorginho Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 10 minutes into the match, JULM C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Jorginho Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorginho Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. JULM C.F.'s Jorginho Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play forced JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Jorginho Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Ma Tian fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rolando Noboa, passed just outside the right post. Ma Tian took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorginho Brodel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ma Tian to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Tiburcio Lejalde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JULM C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Lejalde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Jorginho Brodel in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Brodel having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ma Tian in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play forced JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Jorginho Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ma Tian in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorginho Brodel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jorginho Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Ma Tian notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Asso Undrits made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Demy Vennegoor. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ma Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of play forced JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Jorginho Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, JULM C.F. could leave the field as winners, despite Peru having more of the ball for most of the match.
