With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyle Davies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Stanley Wallace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Luiz Paulo Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Curacao! The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Angelo Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lochlan Newman in the 56th minute of the match. Angelo Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Paulo Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skyrim. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Skyrim booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocco Owen in the 88th minute of play. Curacao's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
