Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Laziali's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Veliko Stefchov in the 17th minute. The corner led Laziali's Veliko Stefchov to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Laziali's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avgustin Yochev came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Darin Gladichev sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avgustin Yochev having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Velichko Shindarov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Rix in the 32nd minute of play. A hard shot 35 in the game by Darin Gladichev from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 40th minute, Velichko Shindarov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. Thomas Rix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Thomas Rix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Rix was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kosta Kúnov, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Gladichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Veliko Stefchov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laziali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veliko Stefchov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Rix in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Thomas Rix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veliko Stefchov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Laziali's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avgustin Yochev came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Laziali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kosta Kúnov in the 80th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Rix's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro da Silva went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 88 minutes, Ramiro da Silva made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laziali fully deserved thier win.
