The supporters of Honduras booed when Green Madness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Berthod didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmid Hervier having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmid Hervier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Madness's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Green Madness's Yannick Guillerme got a free kick in the 14th minute. Noël Saliou struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Madness. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Johnny Berthod, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ahmid Hervier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Christian Sancho. After a rather tough play, Green Madness's Bernard Rochet got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Philippe Wartel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmid Hervier was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmid Hervier having to make a save. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Philippe Wartel struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Madness. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Moises Tafalla hit a great ball. Philippe Wartels short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmid Hervier was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Louison Loth's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louison Loth helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Green Madness's Louison Loth got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Louison Loth made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Philippe Wartel. After 91 played minutes Green Madness got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Nguyen. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes, Sebastian Villa made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Green Madness's Ahmid Hervier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
