An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play forced 马大哈's goalkeeper Franciszek Chuchro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franciszek Chuchro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Chuchro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, 马大哈's 罗皓镇 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franciszek Chuchro saved 马大哈 from getting behind. 马大哈's 罗皓镇 got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 马大哈 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. 柳钢烽 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. 马大哈's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind 马大哈's goalkeeper. Franciszek Chuchro came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Franciszek Chuchro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 姜青 in the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franciszek Chuchro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 姜青 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franciszek Chuchro was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 59th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Chuchro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, 马大哈's Franciszek Chuchro got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Franciszek Chuchro in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, 姜青 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, 姜青 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 马大哈's supporters rose to their feet, but 姜青 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franciszek Chuchro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Agustín Saelices got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 马大哈 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. 罗皓镇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The 马大哈 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
