In the 4th minute of the match Chile got a corner. 马大哈's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind 马大哈's goalkeeper Franciszek Chuchro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姜青 in the 16th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 姜青 in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, 柳钢烽 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 马大哈's supporters crossed their fingers, but 柳钢烽 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 罗皓镇 in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, 马大哈's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Franciszek Chuchro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 马大哈's Franciszek Chuchro. Franciszek Chuchro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 姜青 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from 罗坚潮 in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Alan Tamayo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Franciszek Chuchro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Chile's Mariano Lacasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franciszek Chuchro. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Franciszek Chuchro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Orlando Casaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franciszek Chuchro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Franciszek Chuchro was a little too slow when Mariano Lacasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-3. 马大哈's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Franciszek Chuchro, making the score, 0-4. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳钢烽 in the 89th minute of play. Guillermo Fontirroig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franciszek Chuchro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
