Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Callegari's Barnaba Kolba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Callegari's zone, Luka Harris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Lago came out of the goal and Luka Harris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Canada booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Kolba didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Barnaba Kolba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barnaba Kolba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jax Williamson firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Callegari! The referee gave Canada a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Koby Wright, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Callegari's Rubinho Lago. 1-1. In the 20th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Kolba. Barnaba Kolba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Kolba in the 29th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Dixon in the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, Canada's Jax Williamson got control of the ball when Barnaba Kolba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Callegari's Rubinho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Mccarthy in the 38th minute of play. When Clóvis Proença came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Callegari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Proença couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Callegari's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Canada's Richard Mccarthy to fire away a dangerous shot which Rubinho Lago despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Callegari were furious when Meng Rong Zhou was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Meng Rong Zhou hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Rubinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Hamílton Sampaio made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eduardo Guerrero. Eduardo Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Canada's Prince Anderson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rubinho Lago in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Callegari's Rubinho Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Callegari from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Canada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Callegari.
