Vlado Shikalanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Paredes Xavier made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Romain Bardet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Romain Bardet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-2 became the score in the 22nd minute when Yan Vander elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Vlado Shikalanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Bardet in the 30th minute of play. When OAMOREVERDE's Romain Bardet in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. If Romain Bardet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The OAMOREVERDE fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when OAMOREVERDE's Romain Bardet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yan Vander made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paredes Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romain Bardet to make the kick off. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Xavier was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Paraguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Pardo in the 71st minute. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paredes Xavier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match Romain Bardet climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-5 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonggo Lucas in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Romain Bardet took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romain Bardet got free with Jacobo Nores in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 86 minutes, Yan Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OAMOREVERDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romain Bardet in the 87th minute. Romain Bardet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paredes Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 91st minute of play. When Romain Bardet came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the OAMOREVERDE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romain Bardet couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Romain Bardet tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. OAMOREVERDE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
