The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Unax in the 19th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello didn't even have to move. Dalmacio Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 95th minute of the match.
