The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 乔义竞 in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, LA COSA NOSTRA's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Leal Valido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 乔义竞 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leal Valido having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bebeto Aguiar hit a great ball. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Leal Valido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Gabriel Neiva got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Serkan Günden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leal Valido. Leal Valido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The LA COSA NOSTRA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
