In the 11th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute ZAFIRO FC were awarded a corner. Delmiro Donostia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ZAFIRO FC's Teodoro Montrell to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Armando Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Pero came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Donostia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Armando Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Faustino Reno put in a rough tackle. In the 42nd minute, one of ZAFIRO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ZAFIRO FC. Armando Paredes had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes. Armando Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pero in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Armando Paredes in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ZAFIRO FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cecilio Txaran hit a great ball. Armando Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Marco Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Zorita scored 0-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Paredes, 0-3. 80 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Paredes. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZAFIRO FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Paredes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luca Rouco's late challenge caught a ZAFIRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Rouco helped the player get up and apologised. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, ZAFIRO FC's Delmiro Donostia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ZAFIRO FC reached it. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ZAFIRO FC throughout the match.
