Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Xavies Muñagorri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Muñagorri came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luc Van Hinnendael. Luc Van Hinnendael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bruges's Carl Van Kamp. But to his dismay, Carl Van Kamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mac Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mac Mon in the 17th minute of play. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mac Mon's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Luc Van Hinnendael managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Corrigan came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luc Van Hinnendael. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Lacasa during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Mariano Lacasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Bruges booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mac Mon in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of the match. A hard shot 60 in the game by Xavies Muñagorri from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luc Van Hinnendael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Lasse Kroner kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Lasse Kroner got a free kick in the 81st minute. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 83rd minute of play. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavies Muñagorri went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shane Corrigan got free with Thiago Pliego in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute of the match FC Bruges got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lasse Kroner ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Carl Van Kamp heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Luc Van Hinnendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute of play. Alan Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
