Gilberto Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Gregório Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Milagros Fraga hit a great ball. After 78 minutes of play, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Mira United FC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Henric.
