Todor Latinov was slow to take the kick. During this time Anga FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Anga FC's Todor Latinov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. After having played for 20 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Miccoli got free with Julio Vera in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Baldovino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anga FC's Raul Erramun was substituted for Saverio Bartoleme. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Baldovino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jackie Chan's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jackie Chan helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Tomas Baldovino made a huge save. Jackie Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Baldovino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Baldovino having to make a save.
