Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wang Jie Shi having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Wang Jie Shi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 34 in the game by Ronaldinho Paranaense from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Derwin in the 38th minute of the match. When Martin Martxelin fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's protests and gave Martin Martxelin a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Martxelin in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of Venezuela booed when JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heigo Nool didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Isidro Derwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Derwin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Martxelin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
