In the 8th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Rivera struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juantxis Futbol Club. The audience was convinced that Playo Urruti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Ponc Roig scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juvenal Llorente got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play forced Juantxis Futbol Club's goalkeeper Anibal Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Juvenal Llorente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juantxis Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Llorente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Playo Urruti made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Juvenal Llorente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Playo Urruti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Playo Urruti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 68th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Playo Urruti in the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Llorente came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Playo Urruti in the 74th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponc Roig in the 76th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juvenal Llorente's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Cordoba having to interfere. Juantxis Futbol Club made a substitution. Guillermo Santiago replaced Arturo Rivera. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Cordoba having to make a save. The referee gave Juantxis Futbol Club a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Playo Urruti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juantxis Futbol Club fully deserved thier win.
