In the 8th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Andreas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Luz Tejedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Andersson was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Andersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milagros Fraga went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 26th minute of play. Börna Bulldogs's Rob Lute was substituted for Ragnar Linquist. In the 40th minute, Gong Qi Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Gong Qi Fan sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. Luz Tejedor's late challenge caught a Börna Bulldogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luz Tejedor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Andersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gong Qi Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Qi Fan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Gong Qi Fan notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Gong Qi Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute of the match Börna Bulldogs got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pawel Grabowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan. But to his dismay, Gong Qi Fan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Matias Svahn hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
