Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edílson Souza made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edílson Souza in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Fifth Chicken's Herbert Bobrowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 12 minute of the game. In the 13th minute Edílson Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Bobrowski struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fifth Chicken. 17 minutes into the match, Edílson Souza notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 minutes of play, Fifth Chicken's Edílson Souza made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edílson Souza in the 26th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edílson Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kazimierz Sliwinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Fifth Chicken's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Edílson Souza drilling the ball in to score 0-5 behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper. If Edílson Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 36 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edílson Souza in the 38th minute of the match. Sabahattin Tuncaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabahattin Tuncaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Fifth Chicken's Edílson Souza. But to his dismay, Edílson Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 46 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. If Herbert Bobrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Fifth Chicken were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edílson Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Edílson Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. When Edílson Souza in the 64th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Benito Sanz kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edílson Souza 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Waldemar Tipinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Through a series of nice moves, Fifth Chicken's Mieszko Borkowski on his own came free in the 76th minute of the match and shot 0-9 behind a disappointed Benito Sanz. After a rather tough play, Fifth Chicken's Cezary Bartochowski got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Waldemar Tipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute.
