Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viggo Lundkvist in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the game, Eleven Nation Army's Viggo Lundkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Helge Brun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eleven Nation Army the free kick. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Brun in the 23rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Brun in the 35th minute of the match. Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Åke Ekelund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Ekelund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After having played for 49 minutes, Helge Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eleven Nation Army's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helge Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Helge Brun made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Qian Xing Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 54th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Xing Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleven Nation Army were furious when Wen Li Jun was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 56th minute, one of Eleven Nation Army:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eleven Nation Army. Eleven Nation Army:s Qian Xing Wei showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Qian Xing Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Åke Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viggo Lundkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Eleven Nation Army played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
