In the 39th minute, Naldo Nascimento fired a really elegant long shot, but Jonathan Ferrant threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 40th minute, CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES's Daniel Brailovsky ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Daniel Brailovsky sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Tommy Lingren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Rafa Borre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. In the 91st minute Benjamin Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tommy Lingren made a huge save.
