Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delmar Ubelteso started the match with the kick off. Victoriano Eneto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Victoriano Eneto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Victoriano Eneto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 14th minute, Benito Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Gaston Librado got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Eneto skillfully saved the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After 21st play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Victoriano Eneto and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's goalkeeper Victoriano Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Eneto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Eneto came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Eneto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Benito Frances fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's protests and gave Benito Frances a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Benito Frances got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 played minutes ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Elodio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Ubelteso got free with Julio Vera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Ubelteso in the 43rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Jerrold in the 45th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Victoriano Eneto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute. Silvestre Elodio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Eneto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Juan-Román Riquelme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Victoriano Eneto however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Ubelteso in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21.
