When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mădălin Bălan made a kick off. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Paul Drăgan got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paul Drăgan. The crowd rose to their feet as Patricio Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paul Drăgan. That made the score 0-8 in the 77 minute of play. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Drăgan. Paul Drăgan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. 86 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Drăgan. Purcaresti CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Jose Correa got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Illescas. Paul Drăgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 96th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Venezuela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
