An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 16th minute of play forced JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Jorginho Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jorginho Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. JULM C.F.'s Jorginho Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save JULM C.F. from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. JULM C.F.'s Jorginho Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to JULM C.F. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Urmas Hunt hit a great ball. Tiburcio Lejalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Sam Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the USA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
