Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. KOCAELİSPOR's attentive Robert Percha managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Seyfullah Tuğsavan. KOCAELİSPOR's Hami Şahistan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 10th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Percha. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şemsettin Tuyuğ having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Axel Montenegro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Şemsettin Tuyuğ. The supporters of Colombia booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Percha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Robert Percha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Percha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şemsettin Tuyuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aykut Nadi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the match had been going on for 62 minutes Joshua Garrido shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Şemsettin Tuyuğ when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Percha in the 70th minute of play. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Robert Percha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 81st minute of the match. If Aşır Zabit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the game, one of KOCAELİSPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Colombia's Kevin Mastache got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Şemsettin Tuyuğ. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 97th minute of play.
