In the 14thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De krokante kroketjes's Mickael De Koster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael De Koster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stasio Burdzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Burdzel in the 26th minute of play. Peru's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 45th minute of the game, when Luz Tejedor after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of De krokante kroketjes's goal. Luz Tejedor was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of De krokante kroketjes booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stasio Burdzel came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the De krokante kroketjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Burdzel couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Romain Mérat in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Burdzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 70 minutes, Stasio Burdzel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De krokante kroketjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Burdzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Burdzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, De krokante kroketjes's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Mickael De Koster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickael De Koster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mickael De Koster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
