In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of José Luis Campi. BOHEMIAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. José Luis Campi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 23rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luis Campi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that BOHEMIAN's José Luis Campi managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Luis Campi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. José Luis Campi came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klim Kostygin in the 32nd minute of play. BOHEMIAN's Jonathan Goito was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 35 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 36th minute of the match Evelio Luke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. BOHEMIAN's Nicolas Precioso got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, one of BOHEMIAN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BOHEMIAN. In the 46th minute BOHEMIAN were awarded a corner. Evelio Luke went to the cornerflag to take it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

BOHEMIAN made a substitution. Rodolfo Rafaeli replaced Federico Presedo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BOHEMIAN's goalkeeper José Luis Campi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Klim Kostygin fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOHEMIAN's protests and gave Klim Kostygin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Nicolas Precioso made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. BOHEMIAN made a substitution. Kephalos Georgenes replaced Nicolas Precioso. Rodolfo Rafaeli hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Luis Campi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klim Kostygin in the 73rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but José Luis Campi made a huge save. Klim Kostygin struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOHEMIAN. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Luis Campi could save by the left post. With a little luck, BOHEMIAN's José Luis Campi got control of the ball when Luis Andino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, BOHEMIAN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
