Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Mira Pene made a huge save. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 5th minute. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mira Pene quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mira Pene. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Mira Pene made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Mira Pene skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15th minute, Oktay Eğriöz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oktay Eğriöz in the 24th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mira Pene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Mira Pene made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Paso FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Silvio Sotelo hit a great ball. Paso FC's Mira Pene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Paso FC from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. The supporters of Peru booed when Paso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mira Pene showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Tomas Lucero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56thth minute of the game Oktay Eğriöz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mira Pene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 59th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oktay Eğriöz in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 67th minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paso FC's Denis Rivas was substituted for Oktay Eğriöz. After a rather tough play, Paso FC's Guillermo Ubelteso got a free kick in the 69th minute. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Rivas in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mira Pene came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Mira Pene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Frederik Hötzl made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game.
