After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Marcelinho Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos City's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Adilson Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 87 minutes into the game, Santos City's Wander de Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho Lopez in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Santos City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
