In the 11th minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, CARDANO's Kristiyan Vlahovski got a free kick in the 13th minute. Stancho Zvezdanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 15th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosen Michkov in the 17th minute. Rosen Michkovs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kristiyan Vlahovski charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristiyan Vlahovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes CARDANO got a freekick which was hit by Kristiyan Vlahovski. Tinko Krosnev hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jaime Cazalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stancho Zvezdanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Cazalla ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Stancho Zvezdanov. In the 37th minute, Todor Tronkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stancho Zvezdanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. Todor Tronkov charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Todor Tronkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, CARDANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todor Tronkov to maneuver through the defense. CARDANO's Stancho Zvezdanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 43rd minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rosen Michkov sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, CARDANO's Plamen Seizov got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanoy Krústenov made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Stanoy Krústenov made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosen Michkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Stancho Zvezdanov made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Rosen Michkov came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stancho Zvezdanov. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. When Maximiliano Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Maximiliano Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosen Michkov in the 79th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Stanoy Krústenov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slavyan Dudumov made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert.
