Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Seco got the match started through his kick off. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Tróia in the 3rd minute of play. Jonathan Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Machado got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 8 played minutes Joinville S.German-FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Elias Vale. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Kauã Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Elias Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. Kauã Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Tróia in the 25th minute of the match. Kauã Tróia had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sandro Aguiars short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Aguiar in the 33rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Aguiar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olavo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Kauã Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uruguay were furious when Kevin Carballal was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.

Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Olavo Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville S.German-FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Caco Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Alberto Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Alberto Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense.
