Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Trotta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dave Trotta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dave Trotta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Strazzabosco made a kick off. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franco Romagnoli hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Dave Trotta was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 71st minute, Armin Strazzabosco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Polisportiva Arcorese's Dave Trotta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Polisportiva Arcorese from getting a goal against them. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Polisportiva Arcorese's goalie and right to Agustín Saelices. Polisportiva Arcorese's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Polisportiva Arcorese.
