Marian Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Zagórna's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Marian Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Gniech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Zagórna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiburcio Kiliz in the 52nd minute. Tiburcio Kiliz made a great header on Zagórna's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. 56 minutes in the game, Gwidon Arnista dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Monty Rogers got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Zagórna made a substitution. Florian Kapinos replaced Tiburcio Kiliz. In the 66th minute, Jan-Åke Fransson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zagórna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marian Gniech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 70th minute of the match. Marian Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, USA's Sam Campbell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. In the 85th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Jenson Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA played a much better game than Zagórna and deserved their victory. The Zagórna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
