Fifth Chicken's attentive Cezary Kissel managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. In the 12th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Carballo made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Juan Rubio. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Leszek Mikulski made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
