Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 30th minute of play. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Nicolas Espiridion scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-2. In the 39th minute of the match, Isaltino Figueiredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Espiridion in the 44th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Espiridion in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Espiridion might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Espiridion ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Espiridion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Espiridion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Almir Valadares notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Valadares came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Valadares scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Colombia booed when Montalcino SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menios Kefalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Montalcino SE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
