Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gijs ter Averst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gijs ter Averst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gijs ter Averst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17th play minutes Felix Montenegro shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gijs ter Averst and just under the crossbar into goal. Gijs ter Averst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Gijs ter Averst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Robbermond to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Daelemans got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Revenge's Gijs ter Averst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gijs ter Averst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Rick Theisens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cees Masker kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 41st play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Gijs ter Averst and just under the crossbar into goal. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gijs ter Averst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Revenge's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gijs ter Averst came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Rick Theisens made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijs ter Averst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijs ter Averst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. Revenge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Gijs ter Averst, making the score, 0-5. Gijs ter Averst was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-6. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijs ter Averst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gijs ter Averst came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 78th minute. Gijs ter Averst came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gijs ter Averst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gijs ter Averst. That made the score 0-9 after 89 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Gijs ter Averst in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
