Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vincent Mossberg started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rdth minute of the game Vincent Mossberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camillo Bocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Seco succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Hedman's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Hedman helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Mossberg's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Doru Răuțchi with Per-Erik Juhlin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. If Vincent Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Fridlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Green Fairies's Harald Fridlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Mossberg in the 42nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Vincent Mossberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 47 played minutes The Green Fairies got a freekick which was hit by Folke Skoglund. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vincent Mossberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Skoglund in the 58th minute of play. Patrice Coker hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, The Green Fairies's goalkeeper Harald Fridlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. In the 66th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Harald Fridlund in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Mossberg in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Mossberg in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, The Green Fairies's goalkeeper Harald Fridlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. After 83 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. In the 86th minute Vincent Mossberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folke Skoglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Mossberg in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
