Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thomas Wassberg made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MAFFIAN's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Dahlbom came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Torgny Mogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Edström in the 81st minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Mogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aron Dahlbom could save by the left post. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gunde Svan hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aron Dahlbom firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MAFFIAN succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
