The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Virág, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 44 minutes of play, Vizsla Academy Budapest's Tibor Virág made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vizsla Academy Budapest were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tibor Virág to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vizsla Academy Budapest's Ádám Kocsis. But to his dismay, Ádám Kocsis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 67 minutes in the game Zakariás Gere did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gergely Sólyom. In the 74thth minute of the game Tibor Virág who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Tamayo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Tamayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ágoston Gyenes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 87 minutes into the match, Vizsla Academy Budapest's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Ágoston Gyenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Virág fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vizsla Academy Budapest players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
