Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Rush, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Rush, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute of the match Frenchville Sports Club got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Best Didlock ran over to the corner to take the kick. Best Didlock made a great header on Frenchville Sports Club's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Edvaldo Gaspar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar managed to reach the ball for a save. Frenchville Sports Club's Best Didlock got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Frenchville Sports Club's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Gaspar came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than Frenchville Sports Club and deserved their victory. The Frenchville Sports Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
