Thanks to some nice moves Gong Zhan Chen could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gong Zhan Chen went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Simão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arlindo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arlindo Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Rossi having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Zhan Chen in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Arlindo Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Rossi came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Dráusio Laguna kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Henric in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Lenílson Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Cauã Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
