Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo de Sousa in the 10th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ivo de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Ivo de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Bacho Team were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hernan Ferrando took the corner. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ivo de Sousa 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivo de Sousa. Ernesto Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Padro having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Bacho Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Quinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Padro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Bacho Team booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a little luck, Bacho Team's Ernesto Padro got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Ivo de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Bacho Team were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hernan Ferrando took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bacho Team's corner Hernan Ferrando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Ernesto Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Ivo de Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bacho Team made a substitution. Aquiles Iban replaced Leon Garcia. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo de Sousa in the 79th minute of play. Ernesto Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ivo de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bacho Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Emanuele Marrone suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Primitivo Andino got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bacho Team's Isidro Montrel was substituted for Emanuele Marrone. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bacho Team could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
