The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kevin Mastache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Baptista having to make a save. Ersen Bumba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ersen Bumba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. After 18 played minutes Ersen Bumba rounded Colombia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Numan Afak in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Carlos Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ersen Bumba sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Ersen Bumba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ersen Bumba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Carlos Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Carlos Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erdeniz Karadeniz in the 30th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Numan Afak in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Carlos Baptista was a little too slow when Abram Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 2-2. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Baskın Acem was substituted for Miroslaw Majorski. In the 59th minute Ersen Bumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Erdeniz Karadeniz came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Carlos Baptista in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Abram Secada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Baptista. The goal made the score 3-4. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
