An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amerigo Muzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Muzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match, Luiz Gustavo do Valle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurelian Ilie made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pedro Luís Alvarenga however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo do Valle got free with Thiago Pliego in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amerigo Muzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo do Valle in the 37th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Gustavo do Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Amerigo Muzi to make any attempt to save it. 61 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Luiz Gustavo do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Floripa Lions FSCMZ made a substitution. Gilberto Sousa replaced Aloísio Castro. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Amerigo Muzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Floripa Lions FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Hortêncio Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Hortêncio Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 86thth minute of the game Hortêncio Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hortêncio Montenegro in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Amerigo Muzi to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th minute, Gilberto Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. In the 94th minute, Orlando Casaus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amerigo Muzi. The goal made the score 4-4. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
