A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Hasan Hüseyin Başol might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hasan Hüseyin Başol ran back to his position shaking his head. Brayden McPaul received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Brayden McPaul slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gencer Hüdayioğlu sent off a good shot on target. After 33rd play minutes Brayden McPaul shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Emotep SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hasan Hüseyin Başol in the 40th minute. Brayden McPaul really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Brayden McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Hüdayioğlu in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Brayden McPaul notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Emotep SK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gencer Hüdayioğlu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emotep SK. Tomas Illescas in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernanco Muslera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Giggs in the 67th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencer Hüdayioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brayden McPaul's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Arif Nihat Soyuer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Giggs in the 75th minute of play. Emotep SK made a substitution. Salih Çapan replaced Gencer Hüdayioğlu. After 92 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brayden McPaul in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salih Çapan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Emotep SK got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hasan Hüseyin Başol ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hasan Hüseyin Başol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
