A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Paulo Freire hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Jacinto Vaz 28 minutes into the match. Jacinto Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Vaz having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jacinto Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Vaz was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. Paulo Freire struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ken United. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jacinto Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Ken United's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Jacinto Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute of play forced Ken United's goalkeeper Jacinto Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Vaz saved Ken United from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
